The look through a tiny window - capturing real-time dynamics in the living brain - never ceases to amaze me. During my PhD at the DZNE in Bonn, I focused on imaging interactions of microglia and neurons. Now I keep diving deeper, exploring how the brain functions as an integrated system, where vasculature, glia and neurons act in constant dialogue. Coming across new questions every day fuels my fascination with science.
